Before

Hello we are on our way again in 2025 for a new adventure. Like last year we we take the highway to Hell(sinki). Having so much fun we could not resist

We made some changes on de Subaru, like putting the lightbeambar with a relais on highlights. Much easier than sitting next to the drive and always put in on and off. We added some extra red lights on the back of the car, directly on the battery for added vissebilety And at last but not a least a yellow flash light. That we learned is mandatory 😊.

For more stability and directer steering we changed the rear torsion bar for a siffer one of White line, directly noticed a difference. Also we have a set of spiked tyres, so this will cause some slow🫣 pitstops for changing the wheels. But make driving saver and faster

Today I got my X-mas pressed from work. I am very excited. I chose a plotter for small projects. Always if we needed stickers for a racebike or camper we had te buy them. It’s always quite expensive, and often not what I realy want. So now we can make or own. I immediately made a QR-code for the drone registration number..
I’m so happy with the results. This machine from Cricut will be something we will use much more for sure.

Friday 10 January

Laste night of sleep in our own bed before we leave for Sweden.
Today we put everything in the car. So we are ready for tomorrow.
My daughter did like to make our first team sweater with the plotter. With a new team name. Subi-Doo. We tought it sounds nice. So she put the name directly on the sweaters, laste job of the evening/night🫣. But the result is very pleasing.

Saturday 11 January

We are on the road, not the nice snowy one we hope to encounter. Today at home it’s also a little bit winter wonderland.

Sunday 12 January

Start Sunday at 9 o’clock. We did arrive early hopping for a good spot to leave quickly.
it was -3 degrees but no snow. We did have a good start. After a few turns we came at a gravel road, this was very dusty. Not what we except from a winter run.
After a Koppel of hours we did encounter the fist snow on the road. There it almost went emendly to ice roads. But with out any obstacles we did make the finish a  little bit after 18:00.

Monday 13 Januari

We start very early, because we went to stand in line for we receive the road book 20 minutes before the start. So we had the fist kilometres with out a other runners.  When we went of the main road we did stop for a pitstop, yes we changed our tyres for studded tyres(spyke). There we where overtake by a bunch of runners. But safety first. This was the first time we ever did drive on studded tyres. It’s feels like driving on a gravel road with no snow, when you are on a icy road. It’s gives a lot of confidence. When you have snow, winter tyres are as good as studded tyres.
The scenery was wonderful.
At the end we did drive over the highway E4, so we changed the tyres to winter tyres, maybe to quick because the road was still very icy. Driving was still a fully focus thing.

Tuesday 14 January

Today, we work on our blog, because have a blog and don’t putting anything there is strange. Last night we had the nice Airbnb, it was behind and above the garage. But build wit Love. We where welcomed by the oner in person, that was very nice.

Change the tyres to studded before the start. We where as one of the first on the road with the road book.
